Full set of reproduction 3D-printed spark plug wire clamps (aka clips, aka looms) for the Gen1 and Gen2 (1989-1995) Ford Taurus SHO V6 engine (they fit both the 3.0L and the 3.2L available in those years).
These are the small plastic clips that screw to the valve covers and keep the spark plug wires routed nicely. Most of the OEM clamps are 29+ years old and the plastic is often cracked and the metal reinforcement plates under most of them delaminated, causing them to just hang from the plug wires — if they are present at all.
These clamps have likely never been produced since Ford discontinued the part in the 1990s, so all of the parts out there today are decades old.
If you have a 3D printer, you can purchase the STL files and print them yourself for $10 (NOTE: The download link will be on the final checkout page after payment), or you can purchase a physical set shipped to you for $40. You can also choose to both have the physical set shipped to you and download the STL files. If you opt to print the clamps yourself, we recommend printing these in something like ABS (preferably glass-fibre ABS for extra strength) to withstand under-hood temperatures.
If you purchase the physical set of clamps, they will be printed on an HP Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printer from Nylon 12, which has these properties:
Strong and durable, Good chemical resistance. Slightly grainy and coarse to the touch
Heatproof: 175° C (347° F)
Applications: Mechanical & structural parts, mounts, cases, tech accessories, functional parts.
Notes: The final color of PA12 Nylon prints will be “Natural Gray” or “Dyed Black”
For an additional charge of $5, you can choose to include the appropriate Phillips head or internal hex (aka Allen key) 304 stainless steel mounting screws, which will be shipped to you.
There are seven distinct types of clamp in a full set, as notated in this diagram (NOTE: The seventh clamp — “Triple clamp, Floating” — is not included in the photos because it was not discovered until after those photos were taken, but it will be included in the set you receive):
